About this trip
Eleven days across Uganda's national parks, built around the two things people come here for: mountain gorillas and a proper wildlife circuit. It's run as a private trip, so it's just you (and whoever you're travelling with) and your guide, moving at your own pace.
You'll cover a lot of ground — Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth National Park for big cats and the wider Big 5, Kibale's forest for chimp tracking, and Bwindi for the gorilla trek itself. Boat trips for hippo viewing and stops at Lake Bunyonyi and Lake Mburo round out the wildlife-heavy itinerary.
Accommodation throughout is comfortable rather than basic, so after the early starts and forest treks you're not roughing it.

- Spend time on the water at Lake Bunyonyi
- This is a private departure, so the schedule can flex around you rather than a fixed group
- Expect early starts and physical trekking for both the gorilla and chimp tracking days
- A lot of ground is covered across multiple parks, so there's a fair amount of driving between stops
