About this trip
Seven days across Uganda's parks, built around the two encounters most people come here for: tracking mountain gorillas and chimpanzees on foot through forest. Between those, you're out looking for the rest of the country's wildlife.
Expect buffalo, elephant and leopard sightings, a chance at rhino tracking, and the odd sight of lions draped over tree branches in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The trip also swings north to Murchison Falls, where the Nile is forced through a narrow gorge.
It's a wildlife-first itinerary that moves through several parks in a week, so days are full and travel between sites takes real time.
