About this trip
Four days, one private itinerary: mountain gorillas in the Volcanoes National Park, then a shift to open savannah for Big Five and big cat sightings in Akagera. It's a compact way to see two very different sides of Rwanda without sharing your vehicle or guide with anyone else.
Alongside the wildlife, there's time for the Genocide Memorial Centre in Kigali, a sobering counterpoint to the trekking and game drives that gives real context to the country you're travelling through.
With unlimited game drives built in and a private setup throughout, the pace is yours to shape, though four days means the itinerary moves quickly between forest, park and city.
