About this trip
Seven days in Rwanda built around wildlife, from the savannah of Akagera to the forests of Nyungwe, with your own private guide throughout.
You'll spend time in Akagera National Park tracking the Big Five and big cats across as many game drives as you want, then shift pace on the water at Lake Ihema and Lake Kivu. The trip closes in Nyungwe Forest, tracking chimpanzees and walking the canopy above the treeline.
This is a private, fully guided trip, so the itinerary moves at your pace rather than a group's.
What you'll do
- Track the Big Five and big cats on unlimited game drives in Akagera National Park
- Take a boat ride on Lake Ihema, inside Akagera itself
- Relax at Lake Kivu with a boat ride out on the water
- Track chimpanzees on foot in Nyungwe Forest
- Walk the canopy walkway above Nyungwe Forest
- Exclusively private and fully guided, so it's just you (or your group) and your guide
- Game drives in Akagera are unlimited, so the pace there is flexible rather than fixed
