About this trip
Eight days along South Africa's Garden Route, running from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth with a proper mix of coast, wine country, and wildlife in between. You get a couple of free days in Cape Town at the start to explore on your own before the group heads out along the coast.
The route takes in wine country, small towns, forests, and beaches, with room for adrenaline if you want it — the world's highest bungee jump and a shark dive are both on offer. There's a safari stretch for Big 5 spotting, plus stops to see penguins, ostriches, and whales along the way.
Accommodation is flexible: the lead-in price covers dorm beds in hostels, with options to upgrade to a private hostel room or a deluxe guesthouse/boutique hotel if you'd rather have your own space.
