About this trip
A week travelling through mainland Greece by coach, taking in the sites that shaped ancient and Byzantine history — from Athens to Delphi, Mycenae and Meteora.
You'll walk through the Bronze Age citadel at Mycenae, see the Lion Gate up close, and take part in a Byzantine art workshop before a sunset drive into the cliffside monasteries of Meteora.
This is a guided, group-paced trip suited to families and anyone who wants the history explained rather than pieced together alone.

Worth it if you want Greece explained by someone who genuinely cares and stays organised. Think twice if you prefer brisk archaeological site visits over lengthy expert commentary.
- Guide Dimos consistently went above and beyond: knowledgeable, organised, attentive to individual needs and group dynamics throughout.
- Specialist guides at archaeological sites gave lengthy academic commentaries that slowed progress, causing visitors to miss sights and photo opportunities.
- Well-balanced itinerary mixed sightseeing with relaxation and local experiences; not rushed, allowing genuine engagement with each destination.
- Tour quality heavily dependent on guide quality; reviews praise Dimos specifically, suggesting leader choice matters significantly here.
