About this trip
Five days along the Garden Route with a chauffeur driver who stays with you throughout, covering Cape Town's surrounds down to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa. Overnights are in Knysna and Oudtshoorn, with accommodation in guest houses, lodges or apartments and breakfast included daily.
This is a slower-paced, comfort-focused way to see the region rather than a self-drive scramble — a private game reserve safari, the Cango Caves, ostrich farms, ancient forests and coastal walks are all worked into an easy rhythm, with some lunches and dinners and entry fees to attractions included.
There's time built in for the small pleasures too — oysters, regional wines, fresh juices, and a browse around the Knysna Waterfront — alongside the bigger sights like whales and dolphins off Mossel Bay.
