About this trip
A week travelling overland from Istanbul to Marmaris, tracing Turkey's Aegean coast and its layers of history along the way.
You start in Istanbul with its Ottoman landmarks, then head to the Gallipoli Battlefields for a sobering stop before following the coast down through ancient Ephesus and the white travertines of Pamukkale.
It's a fully guided coach tour, so the driving is handled and the days are structured around a fixed route ending in Marmaris.
