About this trip
Eight days that split neatly between jungle and sea, starting inland around San Ignacio before easing out to the islands. It moves from waterfalls and Mayan ruins to the sand streets and reggae bars of Caye Caulker, then onto a three-day sailing leg through the lesser-visited cayes.
This is a trip for slowing down rather than ticking off sights. Days run on Caribbean time, with plenty of room for hammocks, snorkelling and fresh fish, alongside a fair bit of time on a boat with the same small group.
