Dunes, Deltas & Falls Discoverer

Victoria Falls → Cape Town 18 days Up to 18

About this trip

Eighteen days across four southern African countries, moving between desert, delta and waterfall on a route built around contrast rather than ticking off a single place.

You travel by mokoro canoe through the Okavango Delta, walk among some of the tallest dunes in the Namib Desert, and spend time with San Bushmen communities in the Kalahari, alongside a stop at Victoria Falls.

A CEO leads the group throughout, handling logistics and border crossings, while you sleep in a mix of camps, local lodges and hotels along the way.

What you'll do

  • Glide through the Okavango Delta by traditional mokoro canoe
  • Walk the towering dunes of the Namib Desert
  • Spend time with San Bushmen communities in the Kalahari
  • See Victoria Falls
  • Camp under open skies between destinations
Good to know
  • Covers four countries in 18 days, so travel days and border crossings are part of the rhythm
  • Accommodation switches between camping, local lodges and hotels
  • Fully guided throughout by a CEO who manages the day-to-day planning
What travellers actually say

Worth it if you're keen on wildlife and prepared for early starts and hidden costs. Think twice if you dislike camping or expect everything included in the price.

  • Wildlife sightings were genuinely excellent: lions, rhinos, giraffes, hippos, elephants across multiple countries.
  • Add-ons are essential but not included: Chobe cruise, desert tours, mokoro canoe each cost extra and are trip highlights.
  • Camping gets cold at night; sleeping bag needed despite warm days, and only 5 camping nights across 18 days.
  • Early starts 5:30-7am standard; long drives 7-9 hours common when crossing borders into Namibia and Cape Town.
