About this trip
Eleven days across Zimbabwe and Botswana built around three of the region's big wildlife draws: Victoria Falls, Hwange, and the Okavango Delta, with Chobe National Park thrown in for good measure.
You'll spend time on foot and in vehicles searching for lions, elephants, and rhino, break for a home-cooked meal prepared by local women in Lusumpuko, and take in a performance at the Simunye Theatre. The Okavango stretch slows things down with time on the water rather than the road.
It's a fast, wildlife-heavy route rather than a deep cultural immersion, good for anyone who wants Victoria Falls, two countries, and proper safari time without a long trip.
