Victoria Falls to Windhoek Overland Safari & Participation Camping

Eight days overland through Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia, starting at Victoria Falls and ending in Windhoek. This is participation camping, so you're pitching tents and lending a hand with camp life as you go, not being driven between hotels.

Wildlife is the main draw, particularly around Chobe National Park where hippos and elephants gather in numbers. There's also time with local San people learning traditional wilderness survival skills, giving the trip a grounding beyond just game viewing.

Expect long overland stretches between stops and nights under the stars rather than creature comforts. It suits travellers happy to rough it a bit in exchange for a genuine feel of the region.
