About this trip
Eight days through Zimbabwe and South Africa built around two very different national parks and a good stretch of camping under African skies.
In Matobo National Park you get out on foot to track wildlife before switching to an open-vehicle safari for a closer look at what's living there. From there it's on to Kruger, one of the best-known reserves on the continent, for a proper search for the big five.
Along the way there's time to meet local communities and see traditions that don't make it into the postcards, alongside the wildlife-watching.
