Galápagos – West & Central Islands aboard the Reina Silvia Voyager

Start & end in Quito 10 days Up to 16

About this trip

The Galápagos didn't get its reputation by accident — centuries cut off from the mainland have left it with wildlife you won't find anywhere else. This trip covers the central and western islands aboard the Reina Silvia Voyager, a newly built catamaran with proper comforts on board.

Days are spent moving between islands by boat, with time ashore and in the water to see what's there — iguanas and flamingoes on the beaches, sea life below the surface, tortoises going about their business on land.

It's an easy-paced, fully guided way to see a lot of the archipelago without having to plan the logistics yourself.

What you'll do

  • Spot iguanas and flamingoes on the beaches of Punta Cormorant
  • Snorkel among abundant marine life at Punta Vicente Roca
  • Meet giant tortoises at the Charles Darwin Research Station on Santa Cruz
  • Sail between the central and western islands aboard the catamaran Reina Silvia Voyager
Good to know
  • Easy pace, fully guided throughout
  • Can run over the Christmas and New Year period
What travellers actually say

Worth it if you crave unfiltered wildlife encounters and attentive service. Think twice if you're budget-conscious or dislike early starts and sea time.

  • Wildlife proximity and snorkeling are genuinely exceptional; animals behave naturally within arm's reach.
  • Naturalist guides (Indira Torres, Omar) are knowledgeable, personable locals who elevate the entire experience significantly.
  • Snorkeling in May is cold; wetsuits essential. Expect substantial time onboard between island stops.
  • Meals and cabin comfort exceeded expectations; crew anticipates needs without fuss throughout the journey.
