About this trip

Five days tracing Morocco's Atlantic coast, from Agadir's souks to the dunes near Tamri, the walled city of Essaouira, and the quiet beach town of Oualidia. Food and small coastal life sit at the centre of it rather than sightseeing for its own sake.

You start with dinner in an Agadir souk, then head to Tamri beach for a walk and a go at sandboarding on the nearby dunes, followed by a bread-making session with a Berber family in their village. The route continues to Essaouira, with time to wander its food stalls and fish vendors, then on to Safi for the ceramic market, before finishing with a free day in Oualidia to spend on the sand as you like.

What you'll do

  • Dine in a souk in Agadir
  • Walk Tamri beach and try sandboarding on the dunes
  • Learn to make bread with a Berber family in their village
  • Wander Essaouira's walled city, food stalls and fish market
  • Browse the ceramic market in Safi
  • Free day by the sea in Oualidia
Good to know
  • Fully guided group trip at a moderate pace
  • Ends with an unstructured free day in Oualidia rather than a set activity
  • Available as a Christmas and New Year departure
What travellers actually say

Worth it if you want authentic coastal culture and a strong guide. Think twice if you need deeper time in any one place—five days feels rushed.

  • Guide Marouane was genuinely enthusiastic, professional, and locals welcomed the group warmly throughout.
  • Cooking workshop and lagoon birdwatching were standout experiences that brought the region to life.
  • Five days is tight; reviewers wanted more time in Essouira and felt Agadir was skippable filler.
  • Coastal calm offers real relief from Marrakesh pace, but itinerary lacks flexibility for deeper exploration.
