About this trip
This trip pairs time in the Sacred Valley with the classic four-day Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu. You walk through a mix of Inca ruins, high mountain passes and cloud forest before reaching the Sun Gate for your first view of the citadel.
It's a proper trek rather than a stroll — several days of sustained walking and camping, building up to that early-morning arrival at Machu Picchu.
