About this trip
Six days moving between Thimphu, Punakha and Paro, Bhutan's three most-visited valleys, with time built in for the country's dzongs, temples and handicraft traditions.
The drives between towns follow mountain roads with proper views, and the trip ends with the hike up to Tiger's Nest, Bhutan's most sacred site perched on a cliffside above Paro.
It runs as a private, partially guided tour, so there's some flexibility in how the days unfold, and it suits families or anyone wanting an easy-paced introduction to the country rather than a hard trek.
What you'll do
- Visit Tachogang Lhakhang, a small monastery above the river in Paro Valley
- See the National Memorial Chorten and Tashichho Dzong in Thimphu

- Hike to Tiger's Nest monastery on the final day
- Rated easy overall, but the last day involves a genuine uphill hike to Tiger's Nest
- Private and partially guided, so pacing and some inclusions can flex around your group
