About this trip
Ten days across Turkey, built around the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at Gallipoli and taking in the country's major historical sites along the way. You move from Istanbul's old city through central Anatolia to the Aegean coast, with guided visits threading the whole route together.
Expect ancient ruins, one of the world's stranger landscapes in Cappadocia, and a quiet, reflective morning at the Gallipoli battlefields. There's also time for the everyday pleasures of Turkey — a Bosphorus cruise, the white terraces of Pamukkale, and Konya's connection to Rumi.
This is a fully guided, easy-paced trip, suited to families and groups who want the history explained rather than pieced together themselves.
