About this trip
Nine days through Southeastern Turkey, a region layered with history and still lived in rather than roped off. This is Mesopotamia proper — Kurdish, Arab and Turkish traditions overlapping in the same streets, markets and kitchens.
You move between cities and landscapes rather than staying put: the bazaars of Gaziantep, the old stone streets of Mardin, the fairy chimneys of Cappadocia, and Göbekli Tepe, generally considered the oldest known temple complex on earth.
It's fully guided throughout, with a private setup and an easy pace, so it works well for families or anyone who'd rather not manage logistics themselves.
