About this trip
This self-guided journey takes you from the energy of Buenos Aires down through Patagonia's wild south, covering ocean wildlife, glaciers and mountains along the way.
You start in Puerto Madryn on the Atlantic coast, known for its marine life, then cross the steppe to El Calafate, your base for glacier country and a side trip into Chile's Torres del Paine. The route finishes in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world.
It's independent travel rather than a guided group tour, so you move through each stop at your own pace with the key sights and activities arranged for you.
