About this trip
This 8-day trip runs from north to central Vietnam, starting in Hanoi and finishing in Hoi An, with a cruise through Ha Long Bay along the way.
You fly south partway through to swap Hanoi's old quarter for Hoi An's riverside lanes, taking in the Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills and a countryside food tour before free time to wander Hoi An in the evening light.
It's partially guided, so some days are led and others are yours to fill, making it a reasonable fit for families or groups travelling together.
