About this trip
Fourteen days across Vietnam and Cambodia, tracing a route from Ha Long Bay's limestone islands down to the temples of Angkor. It's a history and culture trip at heart, with a good mix of cities, countryside, and water.
You'll move from the north's karst scenery to the old trading streets of Hoi An, then south through the Mekong Delta and the Cu Chi Tunnels before crossing the border into Cambodia. There, floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake and the temple complexes of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom bring the journey to a close.
Rated easy and fully guided throughout, this suits families and anyone who'd rather not plan the logistics themselves.

Worth it if you want a well-organized, leisurely two-week sweep of Vietnam and Cambodia with knowledgeable guides. Think twice if you're solo or expect a tightly bonded group experience.
- Hotels centrally located in city centres; enough free time to explore independently without feeling rushed.
- Tour guides consistently knowledgeable and friendly; office staff responsive to queries and quick to problem-solve mid-tour.
- Solo travellers reported passing between providers daily with excessive downtime; Halong Bay cruise poorly executed for at least one guest.
- Days 7-8 involve two flights and minimal on-ground activity; consider whether 9-4 Vietnam-Cambodia split suits you better than 10-3.
