About this trip
Twelve days that take you from northern Vietnam down to the Mekong Delta, then finish with a couple of days in Bali. It's a full sweep of the country's highlights, covering history, cities, countryside and water, before you swap it all for volcanoes and beach time in Indonesia.
The Vietnam stretch moves through Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta, mixing city touring with boat trips and war history. Then it's a flight to Bali for temples, a volcano, monkeys and a slower final day or two to unwind.

- Cruise Halong Bay overnight past limestone cliffs and floating villages
- Walk the old streets of Hoi An, including the Japanese Covered Bridge
