About this trip
Fifteen days across Vietnam, running from the old quarter of Hanoi down to the delta south of Ho Chi Minh City. The route takes in the country's big set pieces — Halong Bay, Hoi An, Hue, the Mekong — with a guide with you throughout.
Days are structured around a mix of history and landscape: markets and citadels in the north and centre, an overnight junk boat in Halong Bay, temple ruins near Hoi An, then the pace shifts south into wartime history and river life around Saigon and the Mekong Delta.
