This week takes you through India's classic Golden Triangle before adding something rarer: Varanasi, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities on earth. You move from Mughal grandeur to Rajput heritage to the layered chaos of the capital, then end somewhere altogether more spiritual.
Delhi mixes old-city lanes with modern sprawl, Agra centres on the Taj Mahal, and Jaipur brings its pink-walled forts and palaces. Varanasi is different again — ghats, river rituals, and a pace of life built around the sacred rather than the historical.
It's a compact week, so days are full, but each city gives you a genuinely different flavour of India rather than more of the same.
