Extended Falklands, South Georgia & Antarctic Circle (Ocean Albatros)

This is a long, proper polar expedition — 23 days that push south of where most Antarctic trips go, taking in the Falklands, South Georgia and an extended stretch of the South Shetlands and Antarctic Peninsula, with a shot at crossing the Antarctic Circle itself.

Days revolve around Zodiac landings and cruises, chasing wildlife and scenery with an expedition team who know the ice and the animals. Expect penguins, seals, whales and seabirds in genuinely wild numbers, and a crossing of the Drake Passage that's part of the story.

The Ocean Albatros is an ice-strengthened ship built for these waters, so it's stable if not luxury-smooth, and rough seas are part of the deal down here.
