Morocco: Women's Expedition

This is a women's-only expedition into rural Morocco, well away from the usual Marrakech-to-desert circuit. You start in Marrakech but the real focus is the M'Goun Valley, where you spend four days hiking through remote countryside with the region's first local female guide.

Along the way you stay with Amazigh families, meet women running a rug-weaving co-op, and join in singing and dancing at cultural ceremonies in small communities. It's built around genuine contact with local women, not just sightseeing.

Expect simple village accommodation and proper walking days rather than a soft cultural tour. This suits travellers who want Morocco beyond the postcard version and don't mind roughing it a little for the access it gives you.
