Atlantic Way Experience - Small Group Tour

Start & end in Dublin 7 days Up to 16

About this trip

A week along Ireland's south and west coast, taking in the Wild Atlantic Way at a pace that suits pretty much anyone. You'll move between castles, cliffs and small towns, with the driving and logistics handled so you can just look out the window or get out and walk.

The route mixes history with coastal scenery — Blarney Castle one day, the Cliffs of Moher the next, then down into Killarney National Park and out along the Ring of Kerry to Dingle. It's a lot of ground for one week, so you're covering ground most days rather than settling in.

Accommodation, transport, breakfast and a guide are included, along with a handful of key sites, making this a straightforward way to see the highlights without organising it yourself.

What you'll do

  • Tour Blarney Castle and Gardens
  • Visit the Rock of Cashel
  • Walk the Cliffs of Moher
  • Explore Killarney National Park and the Ring of Kerry
  • Spend time in the harbour town of Kinsale and Old Head
  • Drive out to the Dingle Peninsula
Good to know
  • Easy-going pace, suited to a wide range of ages and fitness levels
  • You change location most days to cover the south and west coast in one week
What travellers actually say

Worth it if you value knowledgeable local guides, small group intimacy, and packed itineraries. Think twice if you prefer slower pacing or dislike early starts and long driving days.

  • Guides like Lee and Austin excel at Irish history, mythology, local food tips, and making each person feel individually looked after.
  • Small group size genuinely delivers: personal feel, meaningful friendships formed, comfortable bus with space, flexible photo time and detours.
  • Packs a lot in daily: Cliffs of Moher, Dingle Sea Safari, Killarney, Connemara, Blarney Stone all in 7 days means early starts and long travel days.
  • Guide quality varies by who you get; Lee and Austin consistently praised, but not guaranteed to every group.
