About this trip
Seven days across Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore and Jaipur, covering India's classic Golden Triangle with a tiger safari and a train journey thrown into the mix. It's a private, fully guided trip, so the pace is set around you rather than a group.
You'll move between Mughal-era monuments, Rajasthan's forts and palaces, and two safari drives through Ranthambore National Park in search of Bengal tigers. The train leg between cities gives you a proper taste of Indian rail travel rather than just another transfer.
Expect a mix of history, architecture and wildlife rather than one single focus — good if you want variety, and it's built with families and relaxed sightseeing in mind.
What you'll do
- Ride one of India's fast trains between cities
- Explore Qutub Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret
- See the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort
- Stop at the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri
- Morning and afternoon safaris in Ranthambore National Park tracking Bengal tigers
- Visit Amber Fort, City Palace and Hawa Mahal in Jaipur
- Private tour, so the schedule can flex around your group
- Tiger sightings on safari are never guaranteed, though Ranthambore is one of India's better parks for it
- Relaxed pace overall, with sightseeing balanced against travel days
