About this trip
This is the classic Delhi-Agra-Jaipur route with a jungle safari added on, covering some of India's best-known historical sites plus a chance at spotting tigers.
You start in Delhi before heading to Agra for the Taj Mahal, then on to Jaipur's City Palace, finishing with a safari through Ranthambore National Park. It's a guided, private tour, so the pace and stops are set for you rather than shared with a wider group.
Five days is a fairly quick run through three very different places, so expect a fair amount of travel between stops alongside the sightseeing.
What you'll do
- See the Taj Mahal in Agra
- Visit Jaipur's City Palace
- Safari drive through Ranthambore National Park
- Explore Delhi's historical sites
- Private and fully guided, so it suits those who prefer a set itinerary over group travel
- Five days covers a lot of ground — expect significant travel time between Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Ranthambore
- Tiger sightings on safari are never guaranteed
Worth it if you want a seamless, privately guided Golden Triangle with genuine wildlife chances. Think twice if you need guaranteed safari success or prefer less early mornings.
- Driver Sanjeev and local guides were consistently excellent, responsive and genuinely thoughtful about logistics.
- Tiger sightings happened; early starts paid off with actual wildlife encounters in Ranthambore.
- Safari can be rained out or bumpy; wildlife isn't guaranteed despite early starts and effort.
- Four-star hotels adequate for one-night stays; breakfast included helps offset India travel fatigue.
