About this trip
Seven days through Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, with a detour into Ranthambore National Park to look for tigers. This is a private, fully guided tour, so it moves at your own pace rather than a group's.
You will cover the classic Golden Triangle sights alongside a few hands-on extras: a cycle rickshaw ride through Old Delhi's lanes, an elephant ride up to Amer Fort, and a sunset visit to the Taj Mahal. Ranthambore adds a proper wildlife element, tracking Royal Bengal tigers in a park that has been protected under India's Project Tiger conservation scheme since 1973.
You are driven between sights and cities in a private vehicle with a dedicated driver, and stay in deluxe (4-star) hotels throughout. It suits families or small private groups who want India's highlights covered thoroughly but without the fixed schedule of a group tour.
What you'll do
- Ride a cycle rickshaw through the streets of Old Delhi
- Visit Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb and Qutab Minar in Delhi
- See the Taj Mahal at sunset and explore Agra Fort
- Ride an elephant up to Amer Fort in Jaipur
- Explore City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jaipur's local bazaars
- Go on safari in Ranthambore National Park in search of Royal Bengal tigers
- Private tour with your own vehicle and driver throughout
- Accommodation is in deluxe 4-star hotels
- Tiger sightings on safari are never guaranteed, though Ranthambore is one of India's better parks for them
Worth it if you want a hassle-free Golden Triangle intro with a dedicated driver and reliable guides. Think twice if you're budget-conscious—hidden extras add up, and hotel star ratings don't always match claims.
- Private driver throughout means you control stops and pace, not the group.
- Guides and drivers speak excellent English and actively engage with questions and requests.
- Advertised hotel stars often don't match reality; expect 3-star comfort despite 4-star promises.
- Significant undisclosed extra costs charged after booking; budget buffer essential despite tour page mentions.
