About this trip
Four days based in Siem Reap covering the temples of Angkor, a trip out to the Kulen Mountains, and a boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake. It's a compact, well-rounded introduction to the region's history, landscape and daily life.
You arrive on day one with time to settle in before the temple visits begin in earnest, taking in Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and the tree-covered ruins of Ta Prohm. From there the pace shifts to nature and river life, with a day at Kulen Mountains followed by a morning on the water among Tonle Sap's floating villages.
There's also room to look at Cambodia's more recent history, with visits to sites connected to the Khmer Rouge period alongside the older pagodas of Wat Bo.
