About this trip
Six days from Ho Chi Minh City down through the Mekong Delta and across the border into Cambodia, mixing war history, river life and two capital cities.
You start in Saigon with the Cu Chi Tunnels and a day by the coast in Vung Tau, then head into the Delta for villages, orchards and canals by boat. The trip closes in Phnom Penh, taking in both the Royal Palace and the Killing Fields.
It's a fair bit of ground for six days, so expect a mix of city sightseeing, slower river stretches and a border crossing partway through.
