About this trip
Six days across Northern Vietnam's three big draws: Hanoi's old streets, the mountains around Sapa, and a night afloat on Halong Bay. It moves at a fair clip, so expect a new setting every day or two rather than long stretches in one place.
You start and end in Hanoi, with the middle of the trip given over to a trek up in Sapa among rice terraces and H'mong villages, then a cruise through Halong Bay's limestone islands. Guides are with you throughout and transport between stops is arranged.
