About this trip
Six days across Jordan, from Amman to the Dead Sea, taking in the country's biggest landmarks without rushing past any of them.
You start in the capital, wandering the citadel, souks and street food stalls, then head south via Mount Nebo, Madaba and Umm ar-Rasas to Petra. Here you walk the Siq to the Treasury and hike up to the Monastery, with optional evening extras if you want more.
From there it's 4x4s through Wadi Rum's desert, a stop at Shobak Castle, and a chance to trek Wadi Mujib's canyon before finishing with a float in the Dead Sea.
What you'll do

- Ride 4x4s through the desert landscapes of Wadi Rum

- Wadi Mujib canyon trek is seasonal and may not run on every departure
- Travel is by coach between sites, with a good amount of ground covered over six days
- Suits families and groups wanting a structured, sightseeing-focused route through Jordan's main landmarks
Worth it if you want an expertly-guided deep dive into Jordan's history with standout local guides. Think twice if long coach days and a packed 6-day schedule feel restrictive.
- Guide G and driver Musa genuinely elevate the trip—knowledgeable, attentive to group welfare, and passionate about Jordan.
- Small group size fosters real bonding; hotels, restaurants, and logistics are well-organised with clear budgeting upfront.
- Expect long coach journeys between sites, though coaches are comfortable and stops frequent; 6 days feels rushed for depth.
- Airport support includes visa and customs help; glamping in Wadi Rum and Petra are highlights worth the travel days.
