About this trip
An eight-day run up Australia's east coast, starting in Sydney and finishing in Brisbane, with plenty of coastline, wildlife and a proper 4WD adventure along the way.
You'll taste your way through Hunter Valley's wineries and cheese producers, get face to face with native wildlife, and slow down for a stretch in Byron Bay before heading out to K'gari (Fraser Island) for some serious off-road exploring.
It's a fully guided group trip, so someone else handles the driving and logistics while you take in beaches, bush and a fair bit of Australian wildlife between two of the country's most laid-back cities.
What you'll do
- Wine and cheese tasting in the Hunter Valley
- Wildlife encounters with native Australian species
- Time to relax in Byron Bay
- 4WD tour across K'gari (Fraser Island)
- Coastal journey from Sydney to Brisbane
- Covers a lot of coastline in eight days, so expect a fair amount of travel between stops
- 4WD sections on K'gari mean some rougher, more active terrain than the rest of the trip
