About this trip
Eight days covering the best-known stretch of Australia's east coast, from Sydney down to Byron Bay and up into Queensland, finishing in Brisbane. It moves at a fair clip, so expect a new place every day or two rather than long stays anywhere.
Along the way there's wine and cheese in the Hunter Valley, wildlife encounters, and the rainforest and turquoise water of K'gari (Fraser Island), with Byron Bay thrown in for a slower beach day.
A good fit if you want a taste of the whole coast in one go rather than settling into one spot, with a small group and a guide handling the logistics.
