Eighteen days across Sri Lanka, covering coast, ancient cities, hill country and national parks in one long loop from Negombo to Colombo. It's a full-country introduction, not a one-region deep dive, so expect a lot of ground covered at an easy pace.

You move from the northern towns of Anuradhapura and Jaffna down through the cultural triangle's ancient cities, into tea country by train, and on to the south coast for a safari and some history in Galle. Two national parks and several UNESCO sites are built into the route.

This is a family-friendly, fully guided trip, with a Christmas and New Year departure for those who want to spend the holidays somewhere different.
