About this trip
Three days out in the Masai Mara, Kenya's stretch of savannah wilderness near the Tanzanian border, tracking wildlife from an open-sided Land Cruiser built for the terrain.
The reserve's grassy plains and rolling hills are cut through by the Mara and Talek rivers, and this is prime territory for lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos, with wildebeest crossing the plains during the migration.
A short, focused safari rather than a long overland trip, based around game drives and camping in the reserve itself.
