Classic Argentina

Start & end in Buenos Aires 12 days Up to 19

About this trip

A tour through three very different faces of Argentina: the city life of Buenos Aires, the rainforest around Iguazú Falls, and the glaciers and channels of Patagonia down to Ushuaia.

You'll walk through the jungle at Iguazú to take in the falls up close, get close to glacial ice at Perito Moreno near El Calafate, and reach Ushuaia on the Beagle Channel, about as far south as you can go before Antarctica.

Excursions are shared with other travellers on the trip, so there's a social element built into each stop, alongside the private arrangements for transfers and accommodation.

What you'll do

  • Explore Buenos Aires' main neighbourhoods
  • Walk through the jungle to Iguazú Falls
  • See Perito Moreno Glacier from Calafate, with the chance to get close to the ice
  • Reach Ushuaia on the Beagle Channel
Good to know
  • Covers three distinct regions of Argentina, so expect some distance between stops
  • Excursions and tours are done alongside other travellers, even though the trip is otherwise private
What travellers actually say

Worth it if you want hassle-free logistics and iconic sights. Think twice if you need hand-holding for free time or have mobility concerns on walks.

  • Guides are genuinely knowledgeable and punctual transfers mean zero logistical stress throughout.
  • Iguassu Falls and Calafate deliver on the promise; covers genuine breadth of Argentina in twelve days.
  • Substantial walking required at Iguassu; hiking difficulty not clearly flagged for those with mobility issues.
  • Tour leaves gaps in free time without restaurant suggestions or activity ideas to fill evenings.
