About this trip
A four-day route into the Erg Chigaga dunes, one of Morocco's largest and least-visited dune systems, tucked away in the southwest of the country.
Rather than the busier dunes near Merzouga, this trip heads further off the main routes, giving you long stretches of open desert and a chance to meet the nomadic families who still live out there.
It's a guided small-group trip, pitched at a moderate pace, and works well for families as well as groups travelling together.
What you'll do

- Meet nomadic communities living in the desert
- Travel through southwestern Morocco, away from the main tourist routes
- Take in open desert landscapes with few other visitors around
- Moderate pace, suited to families and groups travelling together
