High Atlas Double Summit Trek: Oukaimeden & Mount Toubkal

Start & end in Marrakesh 7 days Up to 20

About this trip

Seven days in the High Atlas built around two summits: Oukaimeden at 3,262m and Mount Toubkal at 4,167m, the highest peak in North Africa. You start and finish in Marrakesh, with the days in between spent walking between Berber villages, valleys, and mountain passes.

The route takes you through Oussertek, Matat, Tizi Oussem, and Imlil, staying in guesthouses along the way and getting a real look at mountain life in the region, not just the views. Rivers, waterfalls, and terraced fields fill in the landscape between the two big climbs.

The last day slows down with a walk to Imlil's waterfalls and a traditional lunch before heading back to Marrakesh.

Good to know
