About this trip
Three days based in El Calafate, deep in Patagonia, built around one of the region's great sights: the Perito Moreno Glacier. You get close enough to hear the ice crack and shift, then take to the water for a different angle on its towering walls.
Beyond the ice, the trip turns to Patagonia's human history. A 4x4 trip along the shores of Argentine Lake brings you to caves marked with indigenous rock art, and as the light fades you sit down to dinner inside one of them.
It's a short, easy-paced trip suited to families and small groups who want the glacier highlights without a long itinerary.
