About this trip
Three separate day tours bundled together, each starting and ending in Reykjavík, so you get a broad taste of Iceland's highlights without having to organise transport yourself.
One day covers the Golden Circle, another heads along the south coast, and the third takes you out to the Snæfellsnes peninsula. You return to the same hotel in central Reykjavík each night.
It's an easy, guided way to see a lot of the country in a short space of time, well suited to families or anyone short on holiday days.
What you'll do
- Golden Circle afternoon tour taking in the classic sights
- Full day exploring Iceland's south coast
- Day trip out to the Snæfellsnes peninsula
- Two nights in a central Reykjavík hotel with private bathroom
- You're based in one Reykjavík hotel throughout, with a different day tour each day
- Breakfast is included at the hotel
- Suits those who want a lot covered in a short trip rather than a slow-paced one
Worth it if you want hassle-free access to Iceland's main sights with strong guides and don't mind long days. Think twice if you've booked specific sites—the itinerary can shift, and you may miss promised stops.
- Guides like Omar, Ottar, and Noi are genuinely excellent: knowledgeable, funny, and professional drivers who make long days feel worthwhile.
- Days run 9am–7pm but cover an impressive range: Golden Circle, South Coast waterfalls, Snaefellsnes. You see a lot in three days.
- One reviewer missed promised Gullfoss time and Thingvellir views due to route changes, feeder bus delays, and poor communication about itinerary shifts.
- Golden Circle tour buses can be large and full; South Coast tours are smaller. Hotel breakfast included; solo traveller supplement applies.
