About this trip
This is a four-day base-in-Reykjavík package built around day tours to three of Iceland's best-known regions, plus a dedicated hunt for the northern lights.
You'll cover the Golden Circle, the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and the Jökulsárlon glacier lagoon on separate day trips, each with local guides, before heading out after dark to look for the aurora.
It's an easy-paced way to see Iceland's winter highlights without organising transport yourself, and the days can be rearranged when you book.
What you'll do
- Golden Circle tour taking in geysers, waterfalls and historical sites
- Glacier lagoon tour to see the icebergs of Jökulsárlon
- Snæfellsnes Peninsula tour past coastal cliffs and fishing villages, with views of Kirkjufell mountain
- Guided northern lights bus tour with local guides
- Easy-paced — you return to Reykjavík each night rather than moving base
- The northern lights tour can be scheduled on any day except the same day as the glacier lagoon tour
- Good fit for families or anyone wanting a straightforward, fully guided introduction to Iceland in winter
