Nineteen days from Auckland to Christchurch, covering both islands with a small group (max 24) and a level of comfort above the usual backpacker circuit. Twin-share rooms throughout mean solo travellers get their own space rather than a dorm bed.

You move from geothermal Rotorua and volcanic national parks in the North Island down to the Southern Alps, Milford Sound and Mackenzie Country, with a private air-conditioned coach doing the driving.
