About this trip
This tour traces the classic route through Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan, covering the monuments and palaces that defined this part of India for centuries. You start in Delhi among its colonial-era buildings, then head to Agra for the Taj Mahal before moving into Rajasthan proper.
From there it's a tour of the state's best-known cities — Jaipur, Chittor, Udaipur, Ranakpur, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Mandawa — each with its own forts, palaces and character. It's a full itinerary, well suited to travellers who want a broad first look at north India's history and culture in one go.
