About this trip
Seventeen days covering Vietnam from top to bottom, taking in the country's best-known landscapes and a fair bit of everyday life along the way.
You move from the limestone karsts of Halong Bay to the terraced hills around Sapa, through the old capital at Hoa Lu, the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An, and down to the Mekong Delta where the river shapes daily life.
It's a full guided sweep of the country rather than a slow look at one region, so expect plenty of ground covered and a good mix of nature, history and city time.
