About this trip
A private four-day route through Delhi, Agra and Varanasi, covering three very different sides of India in a short space of time — Mughal architecture, the pace of Delhi, and the ghats of the Ganges.
The centrepiece is the Taj Mahal, which you see twice: once at sunset and once at sunrise, giving you two distinct views of the monument before moving on to Agra Fort and the smaller but detailed Itmad-ud-Daulah, known as the Baby Taj.
From Agra you travel overnight (by train or flight) to Varanasi, where the focus shifts to the Ganga Aarti ceremony, the ghats along the river, and a visit to Sarnath, the site linked to Buddha's first sermon.
