About this trip
Fourteen days split between Turkey's ancient sites and a slower finish on the Mediterranean coast of Northern Cyprus. You start and end in Istanbul, working through Gallipoli, Troy, Ephesus, Pamukkale and Cappadocia before flying across to Girne.
The Turkey leg is history-heavy: ruins, underground cities, calcium terraces and a night in a cave hotel. Cyprus slows things down, with guided visits to Nicosia, Famagusta and Salamis before you get time to just be by the sea.
It's rated easy and partially guided, so there's a mix of led visits and time to explore on your own, making it a reasonable fit for families or groups travelling together.
